2018 turbo will catch on in China

Will the future of turbocharging technology dominance? Recently, the global turbocharger manufacturer Honeywell predicts that in 2018 China's domestic market will reach the turbocharger 10 million, more than doubled this year's 5,000,000. Honeywell sources, in order to better meet the needs of the Chinese market, and will actively develop and launch new diesel and gasoline engine technology to achieve the popularity of turbo technology in the Chinese market.
Now share of about 22%
In fact, turbo technology has been nothing new, in the rear of the car to see if the "Turbo" or "T", it shows the car uses a turbocharged engine. At present, the Chinese market is mainly Ashkenazi extensive use in vehicles, Opel Cartridge and the independent brand has quickly spread. Relative to the naturally aspirated engine, the biggest advantage of turbocharger technology is that it can improve the car engine power and torque. When an engine installed after the turbocharger can increase without increasing engine displacement on the basis of engine power and torque, power output, and it is not installed on the car compared to the turbocharger, increase 40 about% or even higher.
According to Honeywell estimates that China currently turbocharger market share of about 22%. Compared to the same power output naturally aspirated engine, turbocharged gasoline engine technology can be upgraded to up to 20 percent fuel efficiency, improve up to 40% more fuel efficient diesel engines, while reducing up to 30% of emissions.
Market prospects are very uncertain

Statistics show that turbo technology has 67% share of passenger cars in use in Europe, Mazda Cartridge based on the 2020 is expected to be 85% usage; in the American market, in 2009 the use of market share does not exceed 10%, the prospects for its future use, experts predicted that in 2020 there will be about 82% of usage. In the Chinese market, the prospects turbocharging system is also very clear.
"We clearly see the market focus on engine efficiency and emissions are increasing. Turbocharging technology can achieve the twin goals of reducing emissions and improve fuel economy without sacrificing engine performance and driving pleasure, to become China's auto a key technology manufacturers and motorists increasingly popular. "Honeywell transportation Systems Group of China and India, vice president and general manager, said Dai Pengjie. Huge market prospects, so Honeywell increased investment in the Chinese market, will import its core VNT (variable geometry turbocharger) technology. "Since 20 years ago invented Honeywell VNT technology, the world has more than 50 million vehicles installed VNT. VNT expected in the next five years, the market share in China will quadruple."
